What ages do you teach?

I teach children beginning at 6 months old and up. Lessons are tailored to each child’s development stage and comfort level in the water.


How long are lessons?

Lessons are 30 minutes. This length allows children to stay focused and engaged while learning new skills.


How many lessons per week do you recommend?

For best progress, I recommend 3 lessons per week for 4-6 weeks. Consistent lessons is the key to success when learning to to swim.


What if we miss a lesson?

If you need to miss a lesson, please let me know as soon as possible. I offer make-up lessons as their is room on the schedule.


Do I have to commit to a full program?

Lessons are typically scheduled in 4-6 week blocks so swimmers can make consistent progress. However, the number of lessons and weeks can be adjusted as needed.


Can parents watch lessons?

Yes! Seating is available poolside so parents can watch their child’s progress and learn how to support their swimmer.


Can I video my child’s lesson?

Absolutely! I encourage parents to video lessons so they can practice the same techniques when swimming as a family. Also, some children also enjoy watching themselves, which can be a great motivator as their confidence and skills grow.


What should I bring to lessons?

Please bring:

  • swimsuit

  • towel

  • disposable swim diapers (if not potty trained)

  • a fun snack for after the lessons
